COMING SOON – WINERY ARCHITECTURE SERIES – ALTO ADIGE
Wine has been celebrated for thousands of years and temples have also built around the nectar, this hasn’t changed in modern times.
Winery Architecture and inviting tasting rooms have become a huge draw for consumers and is part of the “complete wine experience”. Enjoying a glass in an aesthetically pleasing atmosphere is just as important as the wine and the glass your drinking it out of. The wine world has made leaps and bounds in regards to the architecture and design of wineries: as a work place and as a show piece.
Wine on The Rocks TV had the opportunity to visit with four wineries in the Alto Adige (South Tyrol) region of Italy, a mecca for high quality wines and best known for their fantastic whites, and explore their wineries from the inside & out: Elena Walch, Kellerei Schreckbichl, St. Michael Eppan and Kellerei Meran have all added on to their original structures, thus offering a unique symbiosis of new & old.
Finkus Bripp GC took the time to interview the protagonists behind the structures and will soon launch a 4 part series.
Here are a few photographs which were made during the shoot. Follow us on Twitter or Facebook so you never miss a beat. We’ll let you know as soon as the series is launched.
Keep on keepin’ ON!
